Spookies

So at Halloween, I tend to try to watch...

There's a couple of things like Demons and Demons 2 and the Spookies that aren't like... don't happen at Halloween necessarily, but they definitely have that feel.

But, um, this is a movie that happens at Halloween.

Um, it's got, in my opinion, one of the most iconic Halloween, uh, parties ever in it.

I'm sure there's going to be some horror movies and Now Slayings coming.

But it's a Colton pick, and he has decided to kick off our Halloween season with 1986's film Spookies.

So get that in your eye holes and we will be back in two weeks to talk about some spookies.

Spookies and toonies and titties and all sorts of stuff.

Yeah, we've been kept up by Monique's, Gabrielle's giant titties.

something and it was hard.

But

we also watched Evil Dead and Spookies because we did this thing called Familiar Film Title Fight where we put these two movies up against each other that are somewhat similar.

and i don't think anyone's going to be surprised that evil dead was the better film but that was fun yeah well

you.

We're joined by the returning Anthony Cousins, creator of the Frogman franchise and the new movie, which I'm very excited about, Kentucky Goblins.

Yeah.

Thanks for having me.

Because it's kind of up for debate if it was goblins that came from a cave or if it was little green men from space that maybe crash landed.

And it was in 1955 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

and basically what happened was this this uh family or multiple families were hanging out together at this farmhouse claimed that for an entire night they were like basically in like a siege horror movie where they were fighting off all these little green men that were trying to get into their house um and the authorities came the next day people from a nearby miller military base came over to check out the claims and there were shotgun blasts like all over this place like they all these people, you know, who are not like fun, horror loving creatives like us, it was 1955.

These are just, you know, country folk claim that they were shooing at these little creatures.
