Spirochaete

So a tick can carry pathogens like bacteria, for example, Borrelia burgdorferi.

It's a mouthful, but Borrelia burgdorferi, we'll just call it, it's a spirochetal bacteria.

Spirochetal is the form of bacteria and the shape of it.

And it's a spirochetal bacteria that tends to transmit through tick bite into the bloodstream and can even get out of the bloodstream into the brain, into the tissues, into the joints of the body, and even in the cerebral spinal fluid.

So we sometimes will see these Borrelia burgdorferi.
