some new teams that kind of surprise and join, um, either high limit or, or outlaws.

Um, what, what's that Spire team going to do next year? That's really interesting.

Is that a full-time seat that opens up for somebody? Um, and even mentioned like Hayward Motorsports, I think they're kind of one of those teams, like what's, what's their plan for next year? It's kind of, kind of interesting because, uh, um, Joel Myers Jr.

we just spoke with, is that a team that maybe takes a run at a high limit or World of Outlaws next year? So we're in the start of September.

He ended up finishing 20th.

But Daniel Suarez and Michael McDowell, they ended up second and fourth for Spire, which is a really bad look for Hocevar, as if that spin wasn't already bad enough, 'cause his teammates were up there, so he really should've, uh, used them for help.

But Suarez and McDowell ended up second and fourth for Spire.

And, um, Hocevar, once again, he tried to go for the win himself, but I mean, it gets worse.

He was fifth in points after a ninth-place finish at Indianapolis in late July, um, from the pole.

He feels like he's living in a video game or on, like, a trip- a Twitch stream or something.

I mean... [sighs]He really needs to be focused on his driving now that the chase has started.

I mean, over the last month, Josavar has been the Spire driver that's been in the public eye the most, and he's been the worst Spire driver to show for it.

And I will say, like, I...

We haven't seen this from Spire.

We've seen flashes from Spire where they've had a race or two where they're good, but we've not seen sustained consistency from them.

Yourself and your teammate, as far as McDowell, to some lesser degree, but have been able to kind of do that now, especially on the intermediate tracks.

Yeah, no, listen, sometimes as a driver, you see things maybe before most people on the outside start to see these things.

And I was always very curious what they were doing.

And I mentioned this to Jeff Dickerson eight months ago.

I said, Jeff, don't offend with this, but if you were telling me three years ago, hey, man, what do you think about the Spire? I was going to tell you, no way, no chance.

Let's go business and banking.

What's the return on investment though? If in that world of who's this car owner? Is that Spire? Spire, yeah.

All right, so Spire's whole business model, the financial model, is not making money off NASCAR.

From merchandise sales alone, he's doing the right

stuff.

I don't want you getting over top of it.

This guy's been a fan since he was a kid.

I don't want to, from a business model standpoint, if Spire Motorsports said, hey, he's costing us tons of money by the way he's driving, then I get it.
