But I mean, this, this, like, vacuum, like, evacuated chamber throwing things is already a real project Called SpinLaunch.

This company called SpinLaunch is creating these, these big centrifuges that spin things around in a vacuum until they reach this really, really immense speed, and then they, like, basically open a hatch and let go of it, and it flies out tangential to its original spiral path, and it goes up.

Now, they're only able to accelerate things up to a little over two kilometers per second, so the things they're accelerating are rockets.

And once it gets up really high, boom, it turns on its chemical propulsion and, and goes the rest of the way.
