Spillover

So HHS denies any role in that.

Of course, pediatricians call it a spillover effect.

Parents hearing, quote, shots of all kinds and kind of lumping them together and being more skeptical.

And that's because of some of the health guidance that's out there in the world.

But it actually just the study seemed to point to the fact that it was just the identification of what the excellence looked like caused everybody to focus on that and then elevate their performance, which is what you would want to happen in this.

It is, and it's called the spillover effect.

And it's exactly what takes place when these types of things happen.

And that's been studied.

It was studied by Kirkman, if you want to Google that when we're done talking here.

For those that are listening on chat, back in 2016, a study was specifically released that studied this.

And the spillover effect from recognition was shown to absolutely take place when publicly recognizing an individual team member.

And not to say that the leader couldn't screw it up.
