Certainly, the week was highlighted by three major financings.

Spiko and Nous Research each secured ninety million dollars in Series B rounds.

Spiko, based in London and Paris, manages tokenized cash funds and plans to use the funds for product launches and European expansion.

Meanwhile, Nous Research, valued at approximately one and a half billion dollars, focuses on open AI models and decentralized AI infrastructure within the Solana ecosystem.

And Mecca also made headlines with a sixty million dollar Series B round.

So hats off to you guys.

Um, and whilst we're doing sort of the, the victory lap here, we should talk about, um, Spiko, which, uh, you know, Paul, you might know a little bit about those guys.

You, you of course run tokenized cash funds, uh, in four different currencies.

You raised more than a ninety million dollar Series B led by NEA, um, as your assets hit two point seven billion dollars.

So to have something like this that's, uh, that's kind of giving them that.

Um, what I found interesting as well is you support euros, dollars, pounds, and Swiss francs, which I guess for the European region is, is, is hugely beneficial.

Um, and, uh, you've got the, uh, Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap fund, which by itself reached a billion assets in July.

So do you wanna talk to me about, uh, some of the different funds here and, uh, some of the roles of, uh, the different geographies and, and countries that, that fit within your po-portfolio?

That is double what they were in January.

Yeah, and Spiko, a fintech out of London and Paris, hit an eight hundred million dollar valuation after raising ninety million.

Let's talk about Spiko for a second.

They do tokenized money market funds.

Right.

For context, a money market fund is a low-risk investment holding short-term government debt.

Spiko takes those and represents them as digital tokens on a blockchain.

So you can trade them faster and outside normal banking hours.

The same day, five rounds totaled dollar four hundred and ninety million.

Vinci at dollar two hundred and fifty million, Spiko at dollar ninety million, Rouge TX at dollar fifty-eight million, Hadrian at dollar forty million, and White Lab Genomics at dollar twenty-six million.

Each company sells something close to physical or experimental proof.

A founder who arrives with a language model wrapper and a demonstration will meet a different valuation conversation than a founder who arrives with a correlation plot, a data license, and assigned production program.
