Spider-Man: Homecoming

I'm tired.

So the first one was Spider-Man Homecoming, which I really liked.

I thought Michael Keaton was a fabulous vulture.

That was great, yeah.

I completely boycotted the Andrew Garfield ones because up until that point, Tobey Maguire had been my Spider-Man.

But...

We went to the theater, we saw Spider-Man Homecoming, and it was absolutely fantastic.

That was followed up with Far From Home with Jake Gyllenhaal

I would say, out on the table.

My favourite of his will always be Homecoming.

I just think it's a great film.

I think it's a John Hughes teen film wrapped up inside a Spider-Man bubble and it's great.

So it wasn't MJ in Homecoming.

Anyway, yeah, I just felt he felt the loss.

Between the two of them, they have a couple decades as actors, screenwriters, and directors in a variety of TV shows, movies, a lot of stuff that you will have seen.

I mean, like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Horrible Bosses, Spider-Man Homecoming, Game Night.

dungeons and dragons in honor among thieves i think that was their last movie that they did together they also got a a writing credit on the flash but you know i don't think anybody blames them for that they do a really good job as neil has said with some of these fight sequences the camera does move in some really really uh bizarre crazy ways uh ways that are just absolutely defy all logic but that you know like flying through a peephole and just moving through floors but it does make it very energetic it's very kinetic and keeps things moving very quickly and it's clear that this isn't just a bunch of stuff happening on a green screen shot from a thousand different angles and then put together in an editing room these guys have definitely designed these sequences to work in a certain way for maximum effort And on that level, it pays off.

It's a good sort of popcorn action type of movie.

It's, like, the first solo Spider-Man movie where it felt like he didn't have to rely on high tech to get out.

Because, you know, Homecoming, that goes to what I was saying, uh, Far From Home, he s- he still had some tech of Tony Stark, even after he passed away, but he still had some of Tony Stark's technology on hand.

Uh-

Right

Because that's what they messed up in No Way Home.

Was it No Way Home? The first one, right?

No, the first one was Homecoming.

Yeah, Homecoming.

Here's a question that I have.

Do you think that they will do a Spider-Man homecoming and just introduce us to the character already as Ghost Rider, or are we getting another origin? I think we'll get an origin.

I don't think Ghost

Rider's origin is as well...

I'm using Spider-Man Homecoming as a reference, but I don't think it'll be as big as Spider-Man Homecoming.

But I think Homecoming was so... watered down and just like it was just an easy watch a very safe movie

bigger and doing homecoming like for sure i don't know if this one it'll probably just be people watching forget about it

now i will say if it's more multiverse of madness and just like wild and bizarre i might have fun with it yeah multiverse of madness is insane and i can't believe it's part of the mcu But that's also Sam Raimi.

And John Francis Daly.

So they wrote Horrible Bosses, Spider-Man Homecoming, and then they also directed the Vacation remake, Game Night, and then this.

And then I guess they have a new Netflix movie that just dropped recently.

Uh, what is that? That nobody, that nobody knows about.
