They could be Peter Parker.
Olivia FahyGUEST
1:03
They could be Miguel O'Hara, which was, of course, created by our friend Will Sliney as well.
Olivia FahyGUEST
1:08
So it's that kind of nice.
Oliver CallanHOST

Um, I was just, I just, how many like future Spider-Man stories have we've had? I was just kind of bored with it.
ChrisPANELIST
70:20
Cause it's like, we've had so many and I don't mean like miles, uh, Miguel O'Hara.
ChrisPANELIST
70:25
I mean like Peter's just like another alternate history, another alternate future.
ChrisPANELIST
70:29
Sorry.
FredHOST
22:53
So he is very useful in some circumstances.
FredHOST
22:56
and he just rules i'm a huge fan of king black bolt uh my king black bolt my my list at 19 threat uh is king black bolt uh dr voodoo magic clea and lizard that's 19 yes and i am up against savage's x-force he's playing cable psylocke uh honey badger and oh gosh two more models uh what what is that that right there is 11 so he it has to be eight threats or there are two fours and i for the life of me for some reason cannot remember what they are but uh the way that this plays out i go in on my side salvage supply with dr voodoo and he then proceed oh i know it's a five and a three it's uh spider-man 2099 who is an absolute beast in this game and a three threat which now I I again can't remember uh but I move up and Spider-Man takes a shot at Dr voodoo and then pulls Dr voodoo forward off of the salvage supply and this is where King Black Bolt comes into into value.
FredHOST
24:18
He moves up, he shoots Spider-Man to get an extra power, and then he telepathic commands Dr. Voodoo back into position to be able to pick up the salvage supplies and end his turn.
FredHOST
24:32
In round one, I end up picking up my salvage supplies and Savage ends up not picking up his.

DanielGUEST
54:01
I did not play Venom in this game.
DanielGUEST
54:02
What was relevant was the tweak that Chance made to his list in that he took out every 17 threat scenario he has to try and guarantee he can put Juggernaut on the table in the webs matchup.
DanielGUEST
54:13
um so he brings black panther so we're on um senators and wedding party uh he brings juggernaut killmonger black panther shuri and logan i bring miles spider woman garlic spider spider-man 2099 and moon knight um i'm gonna keep a little tracker here so far of my mistakes mistake number one bringing moon knight on the table um so through two rounds we're pretty much playing dead even um you know it again it's very similar situation to what it was the last time we played where round one we both just sort of walked up took the points got on the secures um we're states tied there round two he pushes a decent amount of damage with logan i'm able to displace logan off the point put a little bit of damage into him Walk over with Moon Knight, put another one or two damage into him maybe.
DanielGUEST
55:10
The really relevant thing here is mistake number two.
Michael BaileyGUEST

Simon FurmanHOST
4:33
We've worked on many other things that maybe have got even less coverage in the course of just a kind of what we're going to do today, which is a quick we were working on this, that and the other.
Andrew WildmanHOST
5:16
He wanted Spider-Man, hugely interested in X-Men, interested in anything that I might have about Doctor Who.
Andrew WildmanHOST
5:22
So he's interested in TV stuff as well.
Andrew WildmanHOST
5:24
And it makes you realize how many different things you've worked on when somebody asks that question like you say for me spider-man 2099 and currently gi joe which is something that for me was the was kind of like the the filler gap or the gap filler between transformers which was kind of big for us back then or big for me because it kind of launched my career But then I only ever wanted to get onto the other stuff, onto Spider-Man or whatever.
Andrew WildmanHOST
5:56
But G.I. Joe filled a perfect gap for me back then.
D.G. ChichesterGUEST
30:35
And Mikey is like a huge, huge, huge terror fan.
D.G. ChichesterGUEST
30:39
And, um, uh, and if he, he's actually the one with Steve Orlando, who, um, if you told me about this first Phil, I think, you know, which was that Spider-Man 2099 and then featured terror as like a villain and, um, which was brilliant.
D.G. ChichesterGUEST
30:57
And, um, yeah,
Phil PerichHOST
30:58
cause I think Steve Orlando wrote that, right?
GaryHOST

He has a run-in with Miguel O'Hara in a story where Miguel O'Hara comes to the present day.
OliviaHOST
30:01
It's not very important.
OliviaHOST
30:05
He gets a job working for Black Cat's when she recruits a bunch of villains to her kind of organized crime operation.
DennisHOST
