So we're both Spector endorsers, right? And I was having my first one made, and it was done.

So I went, and Scotty Hill came with me, went to pick it up.

And the guy, Chris, that built it, I went into his workshop where another guy had the other half of the room, and I just immediately came in and hooked a right and was talking to Chris and looking at my bass.

I was like, "I'm in a band, Skid Row.

We're- we just got signed, and this is my first, you know, endorsement bass." And I explained it, and he was so nice to me.

And we both walked out carrying our new Spectors, and I'm like, "Man, we're playing the Stone Pony tonight.

Can you come? Would you be able to come? It would be- blow my mind if you could do that." He goes, "I would." He goes, "I have a rehearsal with Crenshaw tonight, and it's gonna be right when you're going on, I'm sure." So I was like, "Ah, okay, that's cool, man.
