Species 8472

Okay.

But I'm intrigued to know what on earth you're going to think of this, because we have done the big two-part Species 8472 introductory episodes, Scorpion, and we have done the astonishing we're going to hunt Species 8472 around Voyager episodes.

prey yeah and this is now the culmination of their storyline the great plot to invade the earth or something uh season five episode four in the flesh

is that the really boring one where they're all holograms or something and they're just people because we've kind of abandoned the idea of Making them sort of crappy CGI sub, like, TV xenomorphs, you know? It

Well, I mean, the thing with Voyager is like once they got into season three and especially season four, They figured out that, like, what that show was good at was, like, action.

And they started doing, like, these big two-parters that were, like, the ship has to do an alliance with the Borg, because the Borg are at war with Species 8472.

The ship gets taken over by Erosion, who puts everybody in a... holodeck simulation of world war ii and it plays like a world war ii movie you know that kind of thing where it's just like this is going to be the most action heavy star trek series of the day yeah and that worked a lot better than this kind of like their milk toast version of survival which yeah you know the survival theme just didn't really it's like the writers were just like

it's like how do you how do you sustain that yeah for a whole show like uh how many seasons were there like seven or something but like oh yeah i like how do you how do you sustain this like constant like fear of of like are we gonna make it i wonder if it'll work better as a
