My name's Sharon Smith.

I'm one of the co-directors for Special Needs Jungle, and I'd like to welcome you all to the webinar this evening, which is to discuss the implications of the current EHOTAS consultation that has been launched by the Department for Education.

Um, so we have four wonderful, um, experts who are on our panel, and we will come back to introduce all of those shortly.

Um, but before we do so, we just want to say that the EHOTAS consultation, um, is running until the 18th of September.

Now, some of those implications are for children who aren't yet on EHOTAS packages, and hopefully we'll be able to unpick some of that this evening as well.

So we're here to give you expert opinion, um, about the proposals and also the potential implications.

What I'd like to say at the beginning is we are putting this event on for free, so it's a joint event with Special Needs Jungle and SOS-SEN.
