I was having this conversation with Harpreet yesterday about if they were building their own index and how much of a field day it would be for SEOs.
Edward SturmHOST
Because, you know, something that you said on the podcast before is Google has decades experience dealing with SEO spam and tactics that SEOs have been using to game search engines since the dawn of time, since the dawn of humanity.
Edward SturmHOST
we have been out there manipulating google getting our brands number one and open ai doesn't have this experience and it is a brutal world out there the things that some of us are doing uh and and so i i feel like if this is happening it could be a crazy field day for seos within uh large language models that are making their own index

Holly StarksGUEST
Things have changed in the last six months, but that's pretty much like who I am.
Holly StarksGUEST
I started off as a YouTube person, went to Black Hat, went very far over on the side of being Black Hat and point of getting in trouble.
Holly StarksGUEST
And then I've actually pulled all the way back and you could almost, almost say I'm a White Hat player now breaking news holly starks is a white hat yeah
Joy HawkinsHOST
you were the first here guys that's awesome um so wait i want to i want to question something you just said you said a lot has changed in the last six months are you talking about like with you or with google or can you elaborate on that
Holly StarksGUEST
It has become a dangerous game in the sense of you can blow people's websites up very quickly because you don't know what you're doing.
Holly StarksGUEST
Um, and on the personal level, um, because I did get into some trouble, there was a plan, you know, it has been five years.
Holly StarksGUEST
So, but there was a plan made in place at that point that I would pull myself back anyways and get out of the black hat game.
Holly StarksGUEST
I was not expecting to go as this far over as white as I was, as I am now.
