Spar- uh, Spain Park 36, Hoover 29.

Sparkman 28, G- Grissom 7.

And Vestavia Hills over Hewitt Trussville, 27-24.

So very interested to see and not really sure what to make of it.

All right, the battle for Hoover at the Hoover Met tonight, Spain Park and Hoover.

Hoover is trying to hold on to be a playoff team.

Spain Park is in that same mix of that 3-4-5 slot in Region 3, so take us there.

Give us a preview of the battle for Hoover.

Yeah, you know, I'm going to be out at this one tonight because it's such a, you know, this is such a big-time rivalry.

These two teams in the city of Hoover battling for supremacy, like, that's what they play for in the city and the school system, and It's been a long time since I can recall, you know, Spain Park just feeling like they're getting into this game as the, you know, the superior football team expecting to win.

You know, anytime I've ever really noticed, you know, whenever Spain Park has beaten Hoover, you know, a few times over the last decade or so, it's always felt like, you know, this big overcoming and, you know, can't believe we did this.

I played right guard in high school.

Actually, at the Prattville game the other night that I was covering, police officer there that came down with Spain Park, right? I saw him.

I was like, man, I know that guy.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Uh, the Auburn commit, Marquis Evans, he's out of Spain Park down in the Birmingham area of Alabama.

Really intriguing kid, 6'4", 270.

Kind of a D-line edge rush betweener.

Hold on.

I know he was at Spain Park's game because he went to go see, uh-

It was Spain Park-

Yeah

...

That's right.

Cody was there.

there.Yeah, I went and saw Prattville and Spain Park.

Southern Choctaw 40, Milry 0.

Spain Park 67, Tuscaloosa County 0.

Spanish Fort 31, Theodore 7.

St. James 35, Prattville Christian 21.

So Kyle Parmley was out and about last night, just like we were.

Spain Park played last evening, so did Hewitt Trustful.

Kyle was at another game, but man, what a night for a Thursday night football.

It actually felt like football, Kyle.

math.

Yeah, I mean, we feel pretty good about who the six are, right? It seems like Oak Mountain and Tuscaloosa County are going to be the odd two out when it comes to the playoffs, and it does seem like Thompson and Prattville are going to play for the one and two spots next week.

Three through six, you know, Vestavia, Hewitt, Spain Park, Hoover.

Good luck figuring that one out.
