SpaceCamp

I was convinced I needed to email NASA right away and tell them about my brilliant epiphany.

Apparently, I really need to watch Space Camp and The Astronauts and read the Ender's Game series.

I appreciate all of your suggestions.

I mean, sure, let's just round up a bunch of kids and send them into space and see what happens.

I remember that, that we had...

One of my favorite movies was SpaceCamp, which I think was a TV movie.

I looked it up at one point.

It starred Lea Thompson, who I just-

Yeah

...

I've always freaking loved Lea Thompson, not because of Back to the Future, but because of SpaceCamp.

Okay.

But they're like...

The first half of the film feels like a commercial for NASA.

The first half of the movie, the first half of Space Camp, really feels like a commercial for it.

And at the end of the movie, when, you know, Leah Thompson has to fly the ship, right, where they do that, and Katie just went, oh, my God, this is Airport 75.

Who I guess everybody knows her best as Lorraine McFly.

Yes.

From the Back to the Future films.

Or what's her name in the city? Caroline in the City.

Yes

... she did Red Dawn, Back to the Future, SpaceCamp, and Howard the Duck all before this.

And then after this she was in Caroline in the City, that TV show.

That was it.

Lou's an animal.

Space Camp, which I enjoyed.

That was kind of like a kid's fantasy.

Accidentally getting blasted off into space and then successfully landing the space shuttle.

in a homeschool family or like really sheltered in the 80s, 90s.

There's a movie called Space Camp.

I don't even remember what it was about.

I just remember the title.

I've

got a suggestion for Trump.

He's looking for a place for a space camp.

We have lots of space in West Texas.
