Southwest Center Mall

Yeah, I know.

I know they ain't working from home by the Redbird Mall.

I know that ain't happening.

There was a mall I loved going to growing up.

It was called Red Bird Mall that was in Dallas, and my family did not have any money to go to the mall and just go shopping every weekend, but we would go just as mere entertainment [laughs] of walking around the mall.

Going into Electronics Boutique, which, I don't know, it might have been a regional thing, but it's, was essentially a GameStop of the late 90s, early 2000s.

Going to Sam Goody [laughs] which those no longer exist.

I don't have to buy a single thing.

I just love going to the mall.

But there was a moment when Red Bird Mall was no longer cool, where all the stores just started shutting down.

I think they changed the name of it.

I think we've got some of the retailers are expected to open in 2026, so great to see that coming online.

Redbird Mall obviously continues their redevelopment, $250 million redevelopment on 95 acres there.

They've got Children's Health going in there.

You've got Dallas College is building the campus there.
