uh yeah i went to reading i went to body movements which is the queer day festival in southwark park

in london yeah

uh i very nearly put on my own mini festival but then that got complicated we're going to do that next year

This year, Blood Orange was headlining.

It is just, it's in Southwark Park.

It is just the best, best London day festival.

I could not recommend it enough.

All the stages, the tents are sick.

The sound system is so good.

And I think what makes the sound system so good, because it's in Southwark Park, which is a park which is sort of surrounded by like trees and greenery, there's something for the sound to bounce off of.

So it was just incredible.

just had a great time running around Southwark Park at Body Movements Festival

Body Movements yes were you just running around the whole time

I was lying down for a very long time and then I was running around for a very long time

So, dear you in Southwark, they've just demolished a huge tower block.

Well, it's a tower block of houses or apartments or flats, and it's just by the entrance to Southwark Park.

Do you know, to the south of the river, there was a huge tower block there that was empty for a long time.

And then gradually, slowly, they've demolished it.

What we called the beach, because I was brought up in Bermondsey, and so we used to

go through

Southwark Park and along there and walk along Tooley Street.

And then when we were children, we would take a towel and our swimming costumes and go down there and paddle in the Thames and mess about in the Thames.

But yeah, I mean, back to sort of like festival chatting.

I was at Rally Fest on the weekend in Southwark Park.

And I feel like that was a perfect closer sort of festival vibe.

It wasn't too big.
