Southland Stags

I, look, I, I, I should support Otago.

I'm a Southland Stags fan, but I wouldn't be, I wouldn't mind Northland versus Taranaki as a, uh, NPC final.

We'll find out what happens after the semis this weekend.

Hey, Phil, thanks for taking time out of your holiday in Cairns.

At some stage results are gonna have to come, and that's what we're waiting for, I suppose.

Uh, th- we, we will get positive at some stage, but, um, my probably my last negative will be I just hope that by the time this sorta generation of boys high players get through to the Stags that there's an NPC for them to play in, [laughs] 'cause we just don't know what the future's gonna look like.

That is the other thing.

Yeah.

And the change has to come.

But we're so far down the track, you know.

And, and I guess I went along to the awards, uh, night with an ILT hat on, uh, for the, uh, Southern Stags the other night, you know, um, midweek, um, uh, at Ascot Park Hotel as well too.

And, and of course they're all ...

Oh, Jonesy, Simon Jones there.

20 years ago, started with Southland Stags.

How good's that? That is absolutely fantastic, um, that he's shared in the Roosters' success of the season.

Uh, it came out m- few minutes ago, Samoa have named Akira Ioane, Josh Ioane, Sean Stevenson, have all switched their allegiance, all having played for the All Blacks.
