We had a 60-day memorandum of understanding.

It was a really shitty deal that Trump signed, and one of the parameters said Israel has to withdraw from Southern Lebanon.

Well, guess what? Israel did not withdraw from Southern Lebanon, and the war kept on going.

The war continued to spiral, and Trump had no meaningful way to get out of the war or to assert himself beyond just, like, throwing punches at our allies, making fun of Canada, trying to create chaos on the global stage.

This is why our allies, I still think i- uh, Ireland's our ally, they're more than excited to humiliate Trump back when they get the chance and say, "Everybody hates you." Uh, that's what they say.

Uh, so this is from yesterday, Times of Israel.

Using 1,100 tons of explosives, the IDF said on Thursday, yesterday, that it demolished the strategic underground facility belonging to Hezbollah underneath the mountainous ridge in Southern Lebanon.

Of course the Al-Taher Ridge.

Uh, it's in the buffer zone near the, I guess the village of Nabatieh.

According to the IDF, the tunnel systems under the ridge served as a nerve, nerve center for the Badr Regional Division, which is a unit Hezbollah has tasked with Southern Lebanon north of the Litani River.

Uh, IDF owns everything south of Litani River obviously.

Last week the IDF said it completed capturing and clearing the tunnel system.

The tunnel had a command center or command centers, plural, weapons rooms, generator rooms.

And that's the question of the fate of UNIFIL.

That's something, you know, the UN peacekeepers in southern Lebanon that have been there since 1978.

And this is by the end of this year, by the end of 2026, UNIFIL mandate basically ends and then they have one more year to decommission, to basically just kind of get their stuff out, get the trucks out, get all their equipment, get all the remaining soldiers.

Everybody leaves by the end of 2027.

And there's, you know, very sketchy contact between the president and the prime minister.

but that that means that in the meantime getting the israelis get to do whatever they want and they continue to consolidate southern lebanon but that's my point so there's no resistance therefore what's the therefore there's no resistance i mean let's put it this way if

The Israeli military said Thursday that it dismantled underground infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah at the Ali Al-Tahir Ridge in southern Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said the operation completed the consolidation of a security zone in the area.

The military said the underground network stretched for more than two kilometers and contained rockets, missiles, drones, anti-tank weapons, and explosives.

It also said a Hezbollah command complex with weapons storage and living quarters was located inside.

Israeli forces are expected to remain in the area to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding its capabilities.

The development comes as a U.S.-brokered framework for Israeli withdrawal, and Hezbollah disarmament remains stalled, leaving the future of southern Lebanon uncertain.
