South Dakota State Jackrabbits men's basketball

Take TJ Otzelberger, for example.

Look at his time at South Dakota State.

The bunnies were running.

That's all they did.

How does that feel? What are you thinking? You know, that's really important to me to help understand where they're at and what they're feeling and how we can help.

All right, so I'll ask you to take us back to a place last year where in January, by SDSU terms, struggling with a couple of losses, oh my gosh, before March, in conference play.

Was there a point where that listening moment happened? That was part of the way you guys were able to flip the switch? Yeah, I would say that's

ongoing, so I think that's really important to know.

We'll use whatever tool we can to make it work.

So if we ever need that, we'll certainly go that route and we have the ability to.

But I think the value for me as a coach and value for our program of bringing in high school players, developing them, having them graduate from SDSU far outweighs building a roster with transfers.

Now, we'll probably have some, so I'm not against them.

So Iowa State, one of the best teams in the country the last few years.

T.J. Otzelberger used to coach at South Dakota State, so there's the connection.

But Iowa State and Memphis should be a great game.

November 14th, you get the Market Beat Invitational Women's Tournament, Nebraska and Kansas.
