South Coast Flame FC

That game was something else.

The grand final, South Coast Flame got it done 1-0 over Newcastle Jets.

But this game had everything bar the...

Well, I think it had the kitchen sink thrown in for good measure and some of the fixtures.

Yeah, I mean, doing the prep for this game, Shanzi, watching your call of that semi-final was very instructive because South Coast Flame approached this match quite similarly in that they raced to a 3-0 lead.

Newcastle then threw everything at them in the second half, scored two, had a goal disallowed, not controversially, I would say, but still had one disallowed for 3-3, had maybe one decent chance for an equaliser after that, And it was South Coast Flame holding on once again.

So they've come from third to win the grand final.

They had the benefit of Newcastle Jets knocking out SD Raiders for them.

Afternoon, men.

Can I please get a shout-out to the South Coast Flame? Here it comes.

Mort from Mort Kembla.

Uh, "The women's under-23s lost their final 1-0 against St Raiders, conceding a goal in the last 10 seconds.

Lots of love, Mort." Love it.

Love stories like that.

And yes, it is great that South Coast Flame sanity did prevail despite the objectives, the covert objectives of some to try and get rid of a club and try and turn it on its head because of misadventurous thought.

Sanity to pre- to prevail down there and giving people an opportunity to go, uh, have ambition to represent.
