South Arcade

Skinship,

Mount St. Helen, Follows, South Arcade, From the Howlers, Suspire, The Amazons.

Welcome to the show.

Hello.

They affect the chart massively.

A lot of people don't realize that an album or like a vinyl or CD sale is like the equivalent of like streaming the album like well over a thousand times.

I became friends with Harmony and Oli of South Arcade when they opened for my favourite band Five Seconds of Summer back in April.

I'm really excited for the show later.

They kind of went on tour together.

I went there mainly for this band called South Arcade.

They're based in the UK.

I love their music so much.

Their whole vibe is they tried to go with a... mid-2000s aesthetic sure but they incorporate a lot of modern elements to it and they were incredible live they they brought such a good vibe and energy to the crowd and i just i love that band so much i've only teared up to two bands uh for like live performances ever and that was for uh spirit box when i saw them a few years ago okay and for South Arcade so those are definitely my top two of this year for sure I can't really

yeah

decide which one I liked more because they were both like incredible

but

Well, I'm also just going to quickly nip into some other new music that, again, since we're on that topic of non-Australians.

I've got some reimagined songs from Currents and Sleep Theory, plus there's new music from Jutes, South Arcade, Honey Revenge, and From Ashes to New that I have on my list.

There is a huge amount more.

Again, that's just a tiny little snippet of what's been popping up on my Spotify radar.
