Uwabaha returns to the Soul Society, beginning to wreak havoc as Iba and Komomura head his way.

Aizen taunts Uwabaha, who destroys his confinements.

Ichigo and Renji arrive and team up with Aizen to mount a coordinated attack on Uwabaha.

Yuebaha swiftly regenerates, cuts Aizen apart, and submerges him, then immobilizes Ichigo.

Tatsuki is saved from hollows by Ryunosuke and Shino, just as Yuebaha manifests himself at the same time in the three worlds and eventually begins their collapse.

Shunsui, Soifan, Byakuya, and Hitsugaya arrive to back them up in the human world and Hueco Mundo, Halle Bell, Nell, Grimmjow, Pesci, Don De Chaka stand up to Uabaha, while in the Soul Society, Uryuu frees Ichigo.

So I like that Rukia knows that the two people to send to fight Uabaha in the Soul Society, following him as he had left the Varveldt, that it was Ichigo and Renji.

Hunter Hunter's Nen system is just incredibly flexible and very convoluted with its rules and limitations.

So he's deciding to flood hollows into Soul Society to put the balances of the three worlds correctly to help with Mimi Hagi.

So after that, we see that happening.

And it's also setting up that it's going to be daytime, which we saw in the trailer when the Aizen fight's happening.

It is pure fucking daytime in the Soul Society, and it's daytime already with Ezru down there.

So I guess he just fought through the night.

This meeting with Rukia was also what helped him unlock his massive soul pressure, also known as Reiatsu.

Anyway, with his new powers, Ichigo easily dealt with the hollow, showcasing the insane potential in this fight that nobody in the Soul Society had seen before.

Later on, Ichigo even held his ground against Renji Ibarai, a lieutenant of the Gotei's 13th 6th division, during their first encounter.

This was another crazy feat, considering Renji had years of training compared to Ichigo and much better control over his Zanpakuto.

Zangetsu.

With this, Ichigo finally gained the ability to summon his Shikai, the first combat-ready form of his sword, which gave him the power to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Urahara.

With this power-up, Ichigo entered the Soul Society for the first time and beat down quite a few lieutenants, including Renji once again.

He only met his match when he fought against the 11th Division's captain, Kenpachi Zaraki.

I think, if I'm not mistaken.

And then the Soul King keeps balance between all three worlds, Hueco Mundo, the one where Aizen kind of re- or resides over, uh, Earth, and the Soul Society.

But Yhwach took the power of the Soul King, and Soul King's no more.

Ichigo was going to, uh, become the new Soul King, right? And once you're the Soul King, you're detached from everyone.

they all needed it to beat the other Soul Reapers in the Soul Society.

He couldn't...

Balance the world, right?

They're like, oh, the balance of the world is super fucked up between, you know, the world of the living and Soul Society, so like, what if we do some bullshit with Hueco Mundo?

So my takeaway from that immediately when I saw it is they are going to flood Hueco Mundo with Soul Reapers, question mark?
