Sotah

[foreign language] I'm not gonna learn with him.

You know what my learning is? [foreign language] Right, according to the Gemara in Sotah in the first Perek.

Somebody's learning not because they, they, they think they're better than anybody else.

Now, the Sotah was alone with one man.

So that means the definition of a Rosh Hashanah, a private domain, in these purposes is if there's two people.

Once there are more than two people there, it is a Rosh Hashanah for these laws.

When it was offered to him, he said, I don't want to benefit even from a string to a leather strap.

And the Gemara in Sotah tells us in the merit of this when he said chut refers to the chut, the string of the tzitzis.

So we see here a number of important ideas about understanding the beged of tzitzis.

It's not just doing a mitzvah and getting it over with, but what it expresses when we put it on, surrounding our bodies, etc.

If he's not Moda in any of these Avot, if he's not Moda to these other Avot, he says, well, I only agree to some of it.

I don't agree to the Sotah.

I don't agree to Egl Aruf or something like that.

then you don't give him any share.

So Rava challenges Ura.

"Minchas Kohenes neichalas." Uh, we learned in the Mishnah in Sotah that the mincha that a daughter of a Kohen brings, like a regular mincha, uh, that can be eaten.

But the minchas Kohen, but we know that ha'rocha v'minchas Kohen has to be burned.

V'i amris leKohen v'af lu Kohenes, if you wanna say you can even give the ma'anas kehunah to the Kohenes, v'aksev kol minchas Kohen k'liyor tiyrot yachel.

So the days of the Mishnah Brewery, there was dirt floors in the houses.

So if a guy's going to dig a hole in the floor, is it Mikalko? It's going to be Mikalko? Same thing with Sotah.

He digs a hole for no good purpose.

So it's Mikalko.

Why would you even think that, that you need a pasuk to say otherwise? Why would you even think that, that you need a pasuk to say otherwise? I would have thought that the purification of the Mesodah is greater because the Master taught, great is peace between a man and his wife because the Torah says that one can even erase Hashem's name, which is written in holiness, for the sake of bringing peace between a man and his wife.

This is in the case of Sotah, that the name is erased and put in the waters for her to drink, to remove the suspicion from the husband, so to restore peace in the family.

And so that's how great peace is.

Now this Mesodah, It's because until he gets tahor and brings the sacrifices, including the birds, to be tahor, he's not allowed to be with his wife.
