This is as Trump is running for president against Hillary Clinton, and everybody's screaming that she's funded by George Soros, right? But Soros is actually backing Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law.

That family office was subsequently identified as Soros Fund Management, which took both the credit line and an equity stake in Cadre.

Literally partners with Jared.

A source close to the deal told The Real Deal that, quote, "Soros had a long and productive relationship with the Kushner family," unquote, and a former Cadre employee said Soros and Kushner probably made a hundred introductions that gave Williams his early momentum.
