Lucy Powers on Sky News and was asked by, I think it was before the Prime Minister's speech, so it, so it was a bit more obvious that something was happening on the triple lock.
Matt ChorleyHOST

She was asked by Sophy Ridge, uh, you know, "Are you committed to the triple lock after the next election?" And she starts saying, "Well, first of all, I think what's great is that Andy Burnham's come in and he's doing things differently," and just goes on and on and on and on.

And then Sophy Ridge just says, "Sorry, did you not hear the question?"

What's your emotions? And what she was actually doing, and they agreed that at the end, there was a woman and a man interviewing her, and she decided that she would get prickly with the guy.
Willie HaugheyHOST
20:53
Right? Really? Yes, right? So she was noising him up and they agreed at the end and so did Sophie Ridge agree that it was David Frost's son, I can't remember his first name, right? And he says, I think she was winding you up and he says, no, no doubt about that.
Willie HaugheyHOST

no doubt about that right so it was intriguing but we've heard a lot of stuff this week about AI right and I just I know we touched on that last week but I heard a story this week that was really sad about a girl who's worked for 22 years right in this one company and she went in last week and her and the other two people that do what they do were paid off because the company were using AI now right she's absolutely distraught Right, so this is the reality of what's happening with AI.

The big argument with the Reform, Matt, is, is that everybody's saying this is smashing the status quo, and it's, it's almost as if, and I don't want to use the word establishment, but it's as if everybody's going, "Hold on a minute." I was watching an interview yesterday, uh, Sophy Ridge, actually, um, with Tice, and she said, "You're the establishment now." He went, "No, we're the disruptors." And she went, "But you're the establishment because you've now got more money, and that's unfair." But you could argue conversely that bigger parties have had more money for years, and that's created a system, two parties that, that has also been seen as unfair.

But if you've only spent, you know, like if you've been to business school and you've run a company for a few years, or you've, you know, you're a 25-year-old spad, or you've just come off working on Sophie Ridge, and you haven't really spent a lot of time, as is more normal, frankly, thinking about the ructions of the 1970s, this stuff will just seem like it's immovable.
Jason HazeleyPANELIST

They did it knowing that the Israelis would respond in a dramatic way They knew that this would rile up Zionists and they were ready for that whether in the US or whether in Britain and To a certain degree they wanted that because then they can show and they can prove I mean, you know I saw Ed Miliband on sky this morning with Sophie Ridge and she says do you stand by? Calling them settler terrorists and he said yes, I do.
Fiona LallyHOST
