Sophrony

So these are wonderful books for parents and families to have.

And what she's teaching, as she herself would always say, as my elder would say, you know, Saint Sophrony, And again, who was informed by the entirety of the tradition behind him.

So what does that look like? I find it fascinating because I probably have never thought of it before.

But so you had Sister Magdalene, who is relaying to the best of her ability what she learned from St. Sophrony, who's relating to the best of his ability what he learned to those before him and before him all the way back.

We have a new theme, a new of a series of themes which are developed in this place.

In the past, we spoke, uh, quite often about repentance, and now we're going to speak a bit more about repentance, especially according to the teaching of our father founder, our elder, Saint Sophrony.

I shall ask our Father Ikumen to read my paper first, and then we can have a converse together to listen to your thoughts also.

But it is difficult to have thoughts when Father Sophrony speaks because Saint Sophrony gives the last word.

And let us begin with a prayer, and may God help us.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.

Most Holy Mother of God, give us a word pleasing to thy Son and our God, and save our souls.

The divine and human preconditions of repentance.
