I'm pretty sure that I'm not butchering his name, but they are also mostly horror alumni and friends of the pod, and they have great taste.

When we had them on the show, it was after the release of another film that they produced, Companion, which is a gem with Sophie Thatcher.

And, guys, if you have not read The Troop yet, it is ripe for an adaptation.

I honestly think they could have done a miniseries out of it.

If I happen to divert to another one, it's because they're involved in the same scene.

So first up is Sophie Thatcher's Natalie.

Uh, just to point out with Sophie Thatcher, who of course was also in Companion this year, a film I really, really enjoyed and have reviewed recently.

Uh, I thought her acting in this episode particularly stood out.

I do, I do think a good chunk of the acting in this show, sorry, in this episode stood out as well.

I also really did enjoy her, um, con- s- s- short but sweet kind of confrontation with, um, Shana at the beginning of the episode.

I thought that was done quite well.

So, um, yeah, if anybody's looking for a, uh, young actress for your project, consider Sophie Thatcher, because she's doing really well here, and she was fantastic in, uh, Companion as well.

The film stars Sophie Thatcher, Charles Melton, Havana Rose Liu, Christine Froseff, I don't know how you say that, and Dougray Scott as Johnny Thundas.

I didn't recognize him.

It's funny.

It's not like they're complete different stories, but it sometimes can be difficult to tell where like because one took place in like in a different period, like it is almost like a flashback, you know, and seeing kind of like how far ago was this, you know, and and even if it was a while ago, does it matter? You know, like things like that.

And the way that they go into this sort of I wouldn't even call it a B plot necessarily, but the I guess the story of the the Leatherman, I guess the kind of the origin there is it kind of comes out of nowhere in a way.

where all of a sudden it kind of transitions to this other story and then you see like cuts of um sophie thatcher's character of kind of like waking up or something and you can't tell if like was she dreaming this or did they just have a weird cut to her um so there's a lot of that where you know i think after watching it once and going back i think you can kind of piece things together a little bit easier but upon one viewing it might be difficult to kind of piece everything together But, I mean, there's a lot of really...

Refn kind of wears his influences on his sleeves, so to speak, or maybe on his leather jacket.

But this stars Sophie Thatcher, who she's kind of an up-and-coming actress, and she is fantastic in this.

I don't think it's up-and-coming.
