Sophie Darlington

But, Ellen, you're up first.

I spoke to BAFTA award-winning wildlife cinematographer Sophie Darlington ASC, a very impressive woman.

Those letters after her name refer to the fact that Sophie was last year invited to join the American Society of Cinematographers...

That's a particularly big deal since she's the first dedicated wildlife DOP or director of photography to be counted among their number.

So before then, there were no wildlife cinematographers in this kind of austere, august institution.

So it's a sign of acceptance for wildlife photography in general, I think.

Sophie has worked on a number of productions for the BBC, for National Geographic, for the Discovery Channel, amongst others.
