I have a slight speech impediment.

And so when I say we will, we'll, so anyway, winged wheel, but anyway, Steve is in that band and he told me that he was, um, there and my whole thoughts were like, you know, Sonic youth, like,

And then like three seconds later, it just all clicked.

But I definitely had... a little bit of stage shock plan for, for anyone.

Same with like Fagazzi, Sonic Youth, Unwound.

And I guess I'll do the reveal of that person that I was talking about in college.

So a few years into this, an old college friend of mine called Butch Vig, who is... produced Nirvana's Nevermind and Smashing Pumpkin's Siamese Dreams and Foo Fighters and Green Day and Sonic Youth and has his own band Garbage.

Only happy when it rains.

He was kicking around Madison back when I was and our paths crossed again.

And it was a band where like, They're probably a little older than me, but we were progressing into different music at the same time.

So when I kind of got into Sonic Youth, they started to kind of get more into Sonic Youth.

So I feel like Tidal Fight's the first band where I was really, really into them.

And I had met one of the members at Warped Tour one time.

And I, like, I mean, obviously I listened to it and listened to it.

And yeah, I, I mean, obviously I came out loving it, but I remember being like, oh man, I don't know if I like it.

It just felt like, wasn't like you know that kind of like more like pop punk vibe you know and then i'm i matured a little bit after they did and i was like oh this is insanely good like oh yeah hey the ceiling fan makes complete sense because i'm also listening to stuff that sounds sort of like this too like i probably got way more into uh sonic youth and stuff so yeah i like the same time so
