Sonic Symphony

So it's like, oh, you know, if you were to see Elton John in concert, that's a normal show.

But if you had seen him in the late 80s in Australia when he performed live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, that's like the original Sonic Symphony where it's like, oh, here's the orchestra and Elton.

So it's the orchestra and Sonic.

And then the band joins in the second half where they play That's a perfect analogy.

I did not know that.

Hello, Radical Defect, who says they're missing Pa this week because they're traveling to see the Sonic Symphony.

Well, that's going to be a lot of fun.

Like Sonic the Hedgehog Symphony? Yeah.

Touring all over the place.

That'd be a funny one if they did that.

I've seen clips.

Yeah, 'cause that was my biggest worry.

That was my biggest worry about the Metaphor concert, because I've been to a lot of Sega theme, a lot of Sega concerts, specifically Sonic Symphony.

They, Sonic Symphony does not give a fuck about spoilers.

If you have not played Final Horizon Frontiers, they're spoiling the shit out of it.

So you, you still have not seen Sonic Live yet though, right?

Uh, I went to Sonic Symphony, I did not go to Sonic Live.

Yeah.

Well, they've done it previously, but it was called a Sonic Symphony, and that was an orchestra playing it.

This was a band.

It's called I'm a Virgin, Get Me Out of Here.

I ventured out.

And it was different from the previous Sonic Symphony shows that we had seen.

It's a much smaller band, a much smaller outfit of musicians.

And the song choices were more eclectic, I thought.

Uh, and, and I was trying to like tune my ear into it and you could, you, it was mixed really well and stuff, but like you, just like any concert, you've always got the crowd clapping along slightly off beats and it's just, you know, you're just, you can't dial into it.

So I do almost miss the, uh, COVID era Sonic Symphony where it was just like the live stream.

Cause you could really, you could share it with your online pals, but you could also absorb it with headphones.
