Uh, and when the game released, it was met with a mostly positive reaction.

To this day, it's recognized as an important release for the franchise and for 3D platformers in general, and it was later ported to the GameCube as Sonic Adventure DX and was succeeded by Sonic Adventure 2, originally released in 2001.

Big was not the highlight.

No, its first console port was the GameCube in 2003 as Sonic Adventure DX.

And it later turned up as a download on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but that's another day.

That had nicer textures and the old Game Gear Sonic games as a bonus.

I don't know.

There was one that I saw, which was, you know, Sonic Adventure, but it's Sonic Adventure DX specifically, which, you know, that's cool.
