Her latest book, The World's Worst Mom, is out now, and it includes a chapter from the perspective of her dog, Okie, who she's often joked is her favorite child.

We talk about how Okie helped her through her fertility struggles, how they found each other, and the special bond that they share.

Um, you guys, here's what I admire about both of you.

You seem to embody something I really admire because it's the exact opposite of me, which is you guys seem to have this laid back, Zen, inner calm, uh, take life as it comes, enjoy to the fullest.

And Sona, would you agree that's the opposite of me?

All I'll say is that what I actually have in mind for you, because of something that you said during the podcast, is actually not permanent, so-

This reminds me a little bit of our Fresh Take with Sona Movsesian, who wrote The World's Worst Mom, who is a comedian, and we talked a lot in that episode about, like, being a comedian is great, or having a funny perspective on things, which both you and I have.

Like, something crazy is happening, the stuff is hitting the fan, my head does immediately go to, like, "Well, this is a good story for later," and it gets you through.

But the flip side of that is your comic ability to roll your eyes at literally everything is not always the best approach.
