Solid oxide fuel cell

Bloom makes what they call the energy server.

These are stationary, highly advanced generators that utilize solid oxide fuel cells, or SOFCs.

Now, instead of burning fuel like a traditional power plant, these servers electrochemically convert natural gas, biogas, or hydrogen directly into electricity.

Think of it as a continuous chemical reaction, not a combustion fire.
