Sol Scott

I think the team most likely for the British is going to be Joe Fraser, Harry Hepworth, Jake Jarman, Ruben Ward, Luke Whitehouse.

I think there's some wiggle room that you could see a Jonas Rushworth in there, maybe a Sol Scott.

There's a couple other athletes I think could, I won't be totally shocked if they're in that team, but those five that I initially named as who I probably would pick if I was selecting the team with probably Jonas is the alternate.

But what happened with the British team is, according to their selection document, they were supposed to be meeting the 13th of September to deliberate on who was going to be chosen.

Sol Scott has had success at Junior Worlds on vault, so he did some beautiful twisting vaults.

And then of course Courtney Tullett pulling out the Dragilescu as well.

Yeah, the, the British made a couple of really interesting decisions to, to water down some of their routines.

I do think that they are gonna want some more of those 5.6 vaults if they're really gonna push for a world medal and maybe even a higher world medal than a bronze.

So I think that you're right that they are probably gonna be looking for, for Jake on that world team for sure.

Um, I, I think one person that I'm continually impressed by is Sol Scott.

Um, my pho- I have a photographer there on site, and he has been sending me photos of Sol's vault, and it is, like, pristinely perfect.

Unless someone has a crazy fall out of a handstand or that, it really does often come down to that dismount.

What was interesting is I don't think Courtney did two vaults and instead Harry Hepworth and their younger teammate Sol Scott did two.

Sol has this gorgeous Yurchenko triple.

He usually does take this big three-tenth step out of it, and I think once he's able to get that a little bit under control, he'll be a little bit higher up in the rankings, but really has this huge pop-up off the top and has nice forms.
