Soda Butte Creek

Oh.

Ruffed grouse up near, um, Soda Butte.

Oh, okay.

But, um, got Yellowstone I got American dipper-

It, you can't tell how many days we saw bison.

Um, first night got there, uh, one thing that count myself lucky, somebody else found it in a spotting scope.

So if you know where Soda Butte Cone is in Lamar Valley-

Yep

I could point to a couple things.

One that springs immediately to mind thinking about the Lamar and Slough Creek would be Soda Butte Creek.

Mm-hmm.

So that's a tributary of the Lamar, and back then nobody fished it.

Yeah.

And, and a lot of them, and it's a very popular fishery, rightly so.

So I would say Soda Butte Creek has actually gotten better over the years.

Um, there are other w- more obscure waters.

And before I go home, because I was literally like an hour and a half away, I went to beautiful Yellowstone National Park.

And, uh, yesterday, for those that are familiar with the park, I was fishing on, uh, Soda Butte Creek.

Today I'll be fishing on the Yellowstone River and, uh, just living it up.
