Sociocratic, not Socratic.

No-nothing to do with sovereignty

It made me question everything we accept about democracy, that holy pillar of civilization you humans hold so dear.

Sociocracy isn't democracy, though.

It's something altogether different, something that feels quietly revolutionary.

Here's the twist.

Sociocracy doesn't rely on majority rule.

No, instead of bulldozing through with a 51% vote, It operates on consent.

Imagine you're in a meeting, but instead of counting votes, everyone keeps discussing an issue until they find a solution no one objects to.

It's easy to dismiss this as idealistic, But look at the world we live in.

But what you do for your circle of living developments is you create a sort of co-governance structure around them.

Yeah, we use a decentralized decision-making tool called Sociocracy, which essentially is smaller groups making decisions about particular aims and domains, things that they are responsible for, rather than everybody in the community trying to make decisions about everything.

We kind of give our power to the people who have either the skill interest or knowledge to really hold that for our community.

Our communities work on a body corporate basis.
