Here, here it is." Like, we already see a degradation of social skills.

I'm not saying that's universal, but I'm just saying I, I couldn't agree more that I think we're in a really interesting time.

Even if I can't tell you how it's going to happen, the effort required to sanitize this field is minimal compared to the impact if it does actually happen.

And that's where I think you've got a lot of opportunity and threat modeling for social skills, right? Those soft skills, those communication skills are critical-

... for any security champion in a development team specifically because developers are more interested, and, and this comes from a year, 25 years of experience in development professionally, developers wanna get their work done.

And every time you throw a hurdle in front of them, even if that hurdle is a justified security risk, it's going to make them go, "Okay, let me go back and fix it," and they're just, it, that...

It wears them down, right? So you've gotta really be good at social skills.

You've gotta really be good at soft skills.

And from an organizational perspective, your development process needs to include the security champion from the beginning of every piece of work.

You're not just a mobile mash unit.

While that may be an invaluable part of your toolkit, that's when you think about what else you can do, as you mentioned, thieves and bards, that's your social skills.

That's your thief.

That's your unconventional solution to a problem.

It could be a drummer.

It could be anybody who plays any type of instrument, maybe like a harp or a It's a scald, like a person who tells a story, but that's the type of person who you have them.

Well, we need to get information from this person who has the highest charisma and social skills here.

Cause odds are they're a good liar.

Soft skills cover interpersonal abilities like communication, empathy, and teamwork that enhance workplace effectiveness.

Technical skills refer to computer or industry-specific tools and technologies you can use proficiently.

Like my social skills when I moved here were so bad, but I really pushed myself to get out and talk to people.

Now I feel more confident.

Well, that's like the small talk bullshit.

But maybe that's my fifth point.

So the fifth core competency is social skills or being socially aware.

And I think that like for me, I'm socially aware that, yeah, we're not going to be friends.

I'm not going to change their opinion.

You have to find that bond or you have to find some common ground and you may not get as far as you and I did, but still.

Yeah, I think your point is a good point, right? Because especially when you said the work thing, so I think you kind of took the answer out of my mouth.

But so I think you do have to have the social skills to know, is this an interaction I have to be a part of or I don't have to? So if Brittany had came from a different state and I knew she, because we had different people come from different states, right? They would just come for a day.

We would walk them around.

So please be aware of that.

And guess what? Part of autism spectrum disorder is challenges with social skills.

So let's go back.

The challenge is sensory, emotional, literalness, being mind blindness, and social skills.

And add this layer.

The peer group are so s- caught up in their own worrying who their friends are and what group they're in, they don't have time to worry about another student.

I love the saying by Benjamin Franklin, "Tell me and I forget.

Teach me and I remember.
