Okay, so that brings us to the final pillar, number five, handling relationships.

The art of social intelligence.

This is where everything kind of comes together.

It really is because emotions are contagious.

It's just a masterclass in influencing emotions.

It absolutely is.

And it shows the core skills of social intelligence, things like social analysis, being able to sense others motives and feelings which helps build genuine rapport.

Sometimes people just like to talk about the top five.

It's never disappointing.

Small talk is powerful and is also core to being human and a sign of social intelligence.

I honestly don't care to go any deeper until I can respect the whole person I'm engaged with.

Simple chit chat will tell me a great deal about your intellectual and emotional metal.

We're fine if our machines take a second or 1.5 seconds to come up with a good response, as opposed to trying to do that at like video frame rates or something.

Now, when you say response, um, you know, the, a lot of the demos that I've seen are, are specifically it, uh, I, I know, I know the phrase social intelligence comes up a lot.

A lot of the, the, the videos I've seen are specifically around these sort of like, like conversations.

Right.

This is the largest category by far.

Phase 4, Perception and Social Intelligence includes 68 episodes.

And Phase 5, Integration and Meaning includes 71 episodes.

So when I saw that 174 episodes, more than 40% of the entire podcast, fit into movement, learning, and cognition, it immediately showed me where much of my curiosity has been directed over the years.

Such a world favors brains that can update, remember, and judge context.

The result is a social intelligence full of tension.

Crows gather in groups, share warnings, and raise young together.

Yet they also deceive, compete, and steal.

We're not doing them any favors if we become emotionally charged ourselves.

So the goal is to understand where they are, empathize with them, feel the feelings they're having, but help them walk out of that feeling regulating themselves to calm down that to me is a large part of emotional intelligence and that also takes into account social intelligence which is i don't know if you've heard of synchronization it's where one person is expressing emotion the other person lives listens with primal empathy and then they sink they're in the same emotional state but now you can actually have a meaningful conversation I'm sure you've had children where they're emotionally charged.

You're trying to use logic.

You might as well not even have a conversation.

There is, what's the third intelligence? I believe it's, I pulled it up real quick.

Well, we have intellectual, we've done emotional.

One that is near and dear to your heart is social intelligence because that's where love and belonging really reside.

And that is our ability to connect with one another on a deep level and create these communities.

Today's topic, once again, the highest level skill with women is calibration.

Number three, social intelligence is knowing when to move.

Social intelligence is a more academic term for what I call reading the room is the same thing.

Social intelligence.

It means looking around at other people, understanding their energies, understanding not only what they say, but also what they don't say, how they say things.

What are people thinking and feeling and having an intuitive feel for that and responding to it proportionally in a way that makes sense? Also known that we put it into one word.

We'll call it reading the room.

It's all the exact same thing.
