And so all, all of that music was original.

And then we brought in artists like, like Vanilla, who Vanilla is a Gaian Soca artist.

And I really wanted the soundtrack to be very Antiguan Soca themed, Soca style of music.

And so Rob had actually worked on a movie with her in Guyana and knew her and we reached out and she let us license a couple of her songs that are in the movie to give it kind of more of that Caribbean feel, that authentic Caribbean feel.

And then we had the love theme and the love theme was, I wrote the lyrics for with Rob, and Rob wrote all the music, and then we brought in Gigi Edgley to perform the singing.

you never know but yeah no it was uh that was a good uh needle drop but uh what is soca i was very curious because i'm not sure of that uh style of music

so it's it's a it's a caribbean vibe like very steel drum based um with a bunch of other Caribbean style instruments.

So it's ironically, that's the main themes from weekend at Bernie's too is all Antigua and Soca bands.

Soca pioneer Kes of Kes the Band was an honorary marshal alongside a reggae legend.

am honored that I can share this with the legendary Buju Mantan as well and just represent for this tradition that we've kept alive all of these years, our identity.
