So Dear to My Heart

All right, what do you got for us?

You appeared in Disney's So Dear to My Heart.

I mean,

we know that Thurl has

Jeez Louise.

We're always wrong.

What was the name of the movie? So Dear to My Heart.

And it's about Comet and Cupid.

Peter Ustinov starred in live-action favorites like Blackbeard's Ghost and voiced Prince John in the animated Robin Hood.

And then this is Burl Ives, contributed to the summer magic So Dear to My Heart, classic Disneyland records, and voiced Sam the Eagle in America Sings.

Yeah, he's done a lot of Disney songs too.

Yeah, Burl Ives, that is a weird one that has been stubbed.

Now, what number are you gonna do?

The title song from Walt Disney's picture, So Dear to My Heart.

All right, let's hear it.

Okay.

Okay.[slow sentimental music] So dear to my heart, that Septembery day.

With the leaves turning brown and gold.

When you were the dream I would hold.

So dear to my heart.

I have not had the coffee at Gourmet.

Well, we gotta get you some of that because it's, uh, it really is the best coffee in the city.

Uh, I mean, uh, Tim Horton's is pretty, pretty high-class stuff there.

Uh, pretty gourmet.

Right to your door.

They will deliver it.

And the audio quiz today, because our friend Jay Farrar is, uh, very sneaky, he loves these.

So it is characters in movies, and this is their last words before the character dies.
