Snow White's Enchanted Wish

Um, okay, this is gonna be, this is one that I'm like it's not like a direct comparison per se, because the direct one is so obvious, so I guess I'll do that first.

Princess Fairytale Hall needs to go the frick away, and Snow White's Scary Adventures need to come back, but I'll level up even more.

Snow White's Scary Adventures needs to come back, and Seven Dwarves Mine Train could be a different type of rollercoaster.

Oh, interesting.

I know it's called Snow White Scary, Scary Adventures.

Yeah, but this was an even scarier version of her scary adventures

So there's that one.

Uh, the next one I wanna talk about is Snow White's Enchanted Wish.

Now, this is something that, [clears throat] that used to be Snow White's Scary Adventures.

It was in Disneyland, and it's still in Disneyland.

We used to have one at Disney World.

It's unfortunate that it's only a restroom experience, but the restroom experience allowed them to remove the restrooms that were actually on the other side of this pathway and thus create a larger, extended, interactive experience for those lining up to visit Peter Pan's flight.

Peter Pan's Flight was an opening day attraction, along with Snow White's Adventures and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

All three dark rides opened.

Unfortunately, those two closed, but we still have the joy of riding over London and over to Neverland.

You'll see it when you're on Casey Jr. It's this cute little boat.

towns that you go through of all the different stories so you'll see like a little version of like Snow White's cottage a little version of like Agrabah from Aladdin a little version of like Peter Pan and like Big Ben and it's just really really cute that one especially again I love at night it's so pretty at night It's so pretty at night.

The little villages are all lit up.

There's like these beautiful arches as you go by the Casey Jr. train.

This boy does not cry.

He was full on crying.

It was like, oh my gosh, what did we do? Why did we do this? And then what did we do next? We rode Snow White because I don't know what I was thinking, which is also- Before it got transformed, right? Before it got transformed, which at the time was also extremely dark, creepy.

And he was just looking at me like, why are you doing this to me? Why are you torturing me? Jack's like, What did we do? We just messed things up.

Yeah.

One of the funny things that I wrote down, we were at Snow White and I've never heard of this.

I don't know what we're getting in line.

And there was a lady and her friend, and I think they had two kids and they're kind of looking around, kind of confused, you know, and we walk into line behind them.

And, you know, as we're getting up there, they're like, is this the lightning lane entrance? Yeah.

And I was like, no, this is just the regular entrance.

There's no lightning lane for Snow White.

And she's like, yeah, there is.

So what became the focus and most important to the success of the attraction was the development of the truck or troop transport.

At the time, most of Disneyland's attraction vehicles, like the Matterhorn Bobsled, Snow White's Scary Adventures, or the Haunted Mansion, followed a track that guides them on a set course through the attraction, which never changes.

All the vehicles in these attractions are controlled by one programmable logic control, or PLC, computer in the attraction's control room.

The PLC runs the ride systems, keeps guests safe, notifies the attraction vehicles when they can proceed or when they have to stop.

Yes, yes.

So Snow White's Enchanted Wish, not very long ago, was known as Snow White's Scary Adventures.

And before that, it even had a different name.

If you go even further back in Disneyland history, it was called Snow White and Her Adventures.
