All right, let's take a listen to David Honan with a little guest appearance from Oliver.

This is Dave Honan from Snoqualmie, Washington.

I am not an N scale modeler, but what appeals to me about N is the opportunity for large amounts of scenery in small spaces.

I think of Dean Ferris's recently disassembled Oregon layout and its massive basalt cliffs or the rural scene Lance Mindheim often shares from his old Monad layout.

Like the host, co-host, and most of the listeners of this podcast, I'm not a potato, I'm not a farmer either.

After the potatoes went in their own dedicated planter, I planted cherry tomatoes and regular big tomatoes in our standing beds.

Oh, speaking of cinnamony, I had a piece of coconut cream pie yesterday, slightly cinnamony, from the Double R Cafe from Twin Peaks.

My family picked it up on their way back to Utah in, what, Snoqualmie? Is that where? I think it's in Snoqualmie.

And they put it on ice.

I was going to say, that's a long way to go for a coconut cream pie.

She asked about the history of the Disney Channel, which fits perfectly into today's adventure.

Because today, we are tracing the incredible journey of the screen.

And as long as you don't mind getting up and driving and having a little bit less of that apres scene, if you're about the skiing, if you're all about the skiing, then there's a lot of places you can do that from.

I mean, you can even really do it from the Seattle area with Crystal and Stevens and with some of the Snoqualmie, or you could get a little farther out.

And what you want to do is just find an interstate, Find an interstate exit with a lot of hotels, just regular chain hotels.

Set up shop, see what's on your pass, and go there.

Oh, doing well.

Looking forward to one more summery music event, doing the Snoqualmie Summer Sing in Snoqualmie, Washington.

So I'll be with their high school choir camp for four days.

And yeah, it's a perfect place to go explore the outdoors and hike.

And we're on a highway.

And for those of you that know Washington, like there's a long highway and you go through Snoqualmie and through the pass and everything, it's snowy, whatever.

And there's deer.

And I was in the front seat.

And then transitioned out of nonprofit into health care.

And so was there for about 13 years in a public hospital district up in Snoqualmie.

And then moved to Yakima, was an OD consultant for a large regional hospital there.

And then moved to Bend, Oregon to work in home health and hospice.

Yeah.

So I left, I went when I moved from Snoqualmie hospital to Yakima Memorial and I moved into a different role.

I was doing organizational development.

Yeah.

So they just closed part of the trail north of Snoqualmie and then the trail to the border.
