Okay, so the Blumenthal Brothers Chocolate Company opened a factory in Bridesburg in 1922 that gave the world Goobers, Raisinets, and Snow Caps.

Remember Snow Caps? I remember Snow

Caps.

And this was like a big deal.

The project came together in part because of state and federal loans and preservation advocates are lauding it as a great example of how to revitalize long vacant properties.

And I'll say I was today years old when I learned that my favorite candy goobers and of course Raisinets and snow caps were invented here.
