Saturday Night

[upbeat music] From the beautiful city of Los Angeles, California, we bring you the Gimme Three podcast.

[upbeat music] Welcome back cinephiles, cinema lovers, and movie appreciators to the Gimme Three podcast, the podcast where we dive into three films connected by one theme.

I'm your co-host, Bella Efstratis, and while my illustrious co-host, Nicholas Ybarra, is away, I've invited a special first-time guest to join me this week to talk about three classic films within the found footage horror genre.

Introducing the incredible writer, filmmaker, and my dear friend, Will King.

I, I cannot wait for this episode.

I say that every single time, but every time it's just so exciting, and then it's so fun to have a new guest on the show as well.

And yeah, this, this week we're continuing with the horror genre for the month, you know, celebration of spooky season, the best time of the year, and the perfect excuse to watch all horror movies.

No, I want to.

Oh my God, it's amazing.

Live from New York, it's Saturday night.

As Lorne Michaels once said, I don't know if you've ever seen the movie Saturday Night.

I have not.

It came out a couple years ago, right?

And how it all started in the 70s with a bunch of people who they didn't even know the names

of.

And the concept of this show actually came very interesting because this was, and this touches upon the movie Saturday Night Live.

I really don't think that he's just like his dad in any way.

Like there's one line from Saturday Night Live or Saturday Night, that movie.

Oh, yeah.

Like it's very, very, very Philip Seymour Hoffman coded, you know, the line I'm talking about.

What was his name? Yeah, Dylan O'Brien.

I've seen him in – he's in Saturday Night where he plays Dan Aykroyd, a young Dan Aykroyd.

He's great in that.

And then he's also in another movie I saw recently.
