Things that look impossible.

Smith Wigglesworth said you just laugh at impossibilities.

Go ahead and laugh at a few things that look impossible right now.

Ha, ha, ha.

And there'll be times in your life.

I remember there's a story about Smith Wigglesworth and he was winning a lot of souls to Christ.

And there was this horrific storm that was like one of those ones that sounds like the whole roof of the house is going to come off.

And he heard something downstairs.

He said, I went back upstairs and went to bed.

He had been through some stuff.

And if anybody ever modern moved in true healing power, not all the chicanery we're seeing now, I think it was Smith Wigglesworth.

Because what he would do, and this was documented in Australia, he went down there and said, who's closest to the point of death? Who, if God doesn't touch him today, will not make it through this meeting? That's how he started his meeting.

He said, um, "Once I get healed, I'll, I want that key back," but he said, "While I'm in the hospital, use my office anytime you want.

I've got a lot of books you can use, and books by Kenneth Hagin, and Oral Roberts, and Lester Sumrall, Smith Wigglesworth, and A.A. Allen.

All these." He said, "You can use any book in my office to study and to, to prepare sermons." I didn't think much of it.

I stuck that key on my keyring and, and then time went on and he passed away.

If you study different revivalists, generals in the faith that held great revivals and were a part of the movement of God, some of them did not start their ministries into the later parts of their life.

And the first one comes to my mind is Smith Wigglesworth.

I think he was in his 60s when his ministry first launched.

He first was a plumber.

So again, scholars debate what's going on in this passage, that Jesus, who's consistently seated at the right hand of the Father, is now standing at the right hand of God.

W- W- What is going on here? And there's this one guy called Smith Wigglesworth, if you Google him, a Pentecostal preacher, bit of a nutter, um, but had some incredible insights from scripture, and his take on this was that Jesus is witnessing Stephen giving his life for the sake of the gospel, and in that moment he's trying to find strength for what he's about to do, and he, he gazes up heavenwards.

I can imagine Jesus saying to the Father, "You need to tear open the heavens.

Jesus, uh, Stephen needs to see this moment." So the heavens are torn open, and Stephen's looking upwards, and Jesus gets to his feet, 'cause he can't sit down in a moment like this, as he cheers on Stephen, "You can do this.

And the amount of people who've done incredible things for God, who had no schooling, couldn't even read or write.

You know, Smith Wigglesworth couldn't read or write either.

He learned to read the Bible and that was it.

And that was the only thing he read.

Her other two friends were in shock that somebody would stand up and pray right there in the middle of a restaurant.

Listen, that's what Smith Wigglesworth used to do.

He would stand up.

And he said, you know, all of you need to get saved or even just have some.

And that's what

yeah right well it's really great I mean the healing testimonies I remember you know we got to sit under and learn from Lester Summerall who actually traveled with Smith Wigglesworth.

So we had firsthand information and so many exciting testimonies and stories that we heard about miracles, all of the miracles that were taking place, you know.
