Smart Columbus

But just trying to teach individuals in our community those basic fundamental digital skills.

Another program that we're a part of is with Connect Us, which is a part of Smart Columbus.

We've been running that over the last couple years, where we've offered about 9,000 hours of training.

Again, just kind of fundamental digital skills training, and it's about a week-long program.

And for those individuals who graduate from that program, they are given a computer and those computers are brought to us or donated to Smart Columbus from corporate partners as well as some of the donations that we receive at Goodwill and we're able to refresh those computers and then give those to the individuals who complete that program.

And then this Friday, in honor of Digital Skills Week, Friday at our job training center off of Bryce Road, we're having a working lunch.

So a couple hours where you can sign up, go to our website at goodwillcolumbus.org and you can sign up for this program where you learn some fundamental skills and you can get lunch from Goodwill.
