So I'm definitely planning to check this out on Netflix, and it's something else Devindra Hardawar's been watching.
David ChenHOST
I had a chance to check out a new Apple TV show called Small Prophets.
David ChenHOST
And, uh, the idea is that this show covers this guy, Michael, whose partner, Clea, disappeared seven years ago.
David ChenHOST
And it kind of follows his life after Clea disappeared seven years ago.
Devindra HardawarHOST
You know? Like, you learn more about this character.
Devindra HardawarHOST
You learn more about his loss and how that loss affected everybody around him.
Devindra HardawarHOST
It's a quiet show, but I love quiet little wonders, right? It's called Small Prophets, so I guess also not really a really sexy name-
David ChenHOST
Yeah
Mikail AtiyehHOST
It's available now for streaming.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
Then we have the quirky supernatural comedy series that is Small Prophets Season One.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
Now, this follows Michael Sleep, a man whose life has barely moved forward since his girlfriend, uh, Clea disappeared 70 years ago.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
Sorry, seven years ago.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
Uh, it's a great pick for viewers who love those kind of more gentle comedies with eccentric characters and stories that are very, very strange in a world that's so ordinary.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
So check it out.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
It's called Small Prophets Season One, and now it's available for streaming.
Mikail AtiyehHOST
Then we have the adult animated supernatural comedy series Haunted Hotel Season Two, which returns to Katherine and The Undervail, the extremely haunted hotel that she runs with the help of, uh, help from her ghost brother Nathan, her two children, and a growing collection of supernatural residents.

Ahead of last night's season one premiere on Apple TV, 9to5Mac ran a report just bubbling with enthusiasm.
Ken RayHOST
The piece had a piece from The Hollywood Reporter saying, I would argue that Small Prophets may be the finest show to hit Apple this year, though that superlative would also probably depend on your feelings about Widow's Bay.
Ken RayHOST
From The Verge, it's a low-key show, but one that is also extremely strong in basically every regard, with an excellent supporting cast, just the right amount of mystery, and the perfect mix of sweet and silly tones.
Ken RayHOST
The goofy and heartwarming nature of Small Prophets also makes it a particularly good fit for Apple TV, since there's nothing else quite like it on the service.
Ken RayHOST
An order for season two, great reviews, a 100% rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences giving it a 95%.
Ken RayHOST
You can see why waiting on this one could be tough.
Ken RayHOST
The first two episodes of Small Prophets are available to stream now on Apple TV.
Ken RayHOST
macOS Ken, brought to you by me, and sponsored by OpenCase.
Dick ToledoHOST
And I'm thinking an old one.
Dick ToledoHOST
Um, on Apple TV tomorrow is a new series called Small Prophets.
John HolmbergHOST
All right.

No, it's fine.
Ryan BaileyHOST
Uh, on A- on Apple TV, we have the Season Four finale of Ted Lasso, and we have the Season One finale of Last Seen on Apple TV.
Ryan BaileyHOST
And also on Apple TV, we have, uh, a show called Small Prophets where it says a man attempts to create magical spirits that can predict, predict the future in hopes of disco- discovering whether he'll ever see his long-missing partner again.
Ryan BaileyHOST
Okay, sounds fun.
Ryan BaileyHOST
Uh, we have the Season 12 premiere of Chicago Med on NBC, and then w- [laughs] at 9:00 PM on NBC, we have Chicago Fire, Season 15, and then at 10:00 PM, we have Chicago PD on Season 14.
