I did wanna ask one thing about SPX because I think SPX is interesting.

For listeners that don't know, SPX is Small Press Expo, and it is...

It's where the Ignatz Awards is.

It's where-

It's funny you say that.

Like, it, it's, it's a mix.

I absolutely did feel the love when I was at, like, Small Press Expo.

Another person to shout out 'cause you were talking about just cool people there, like, I met Steve Wolfhard, who was the, um, I think he was storyboard director, uh, and a writer for Adventure Time for some time, and now he's doing this comic called Castle Squirrel, which I picked up from him and is hysterical.

Always a delight to have her and chat with her and catch up.

She had some new mini-comics out, and we talked about those, and Ancient Pact, Creature of the Night, we talked about the status of Dear Mini 2, her love of Rocky Horror Picture Show, shadow casting, diary comics, finding love, art tools, etc., so much.

I've already probably read another hundreds and maybe a thousand pages of crappy novels and maybe watch some TV or film to prep for interviews as well.

So, Lots to go.

But I hope you enjoyed all the Small Press Expo coverage.

So I went to a convention this weekend called Small Press Expo.

Oh, nice.

And I went for the first time last year, and I had a blast.

episode 1752 hey everyone it's jimmy aquino with another spx special that is small press expo got 10 interviews there over the weekend and this one's going to be with sarah beacon Sarah and I were introduced via email from our mutual friend Lucy Nicely, who reached out to me earlier in the year saying, Hey, my friend Sarah has this great new book I think you'd love called Let's Make Cocktails.

And I was like, I like the title already, because as many of you know, I'm a bartender for a living, and I always enjoy seeing cocktail books, and especially illustrated ones.

So we chatted and figured out where we'd be together at the same time, which was SPX, where we could chat.

It was such an honor, and I had such a good time, and I look forward to chatting again, as I said.

All right, I interrupted the Small Press Expo interview specials for this one, but this was super special, obviously.

We wanted to get this one out.

But back to those, more of those soon.
