Small ball

When we're looking at their backup big situation right now, it's not great.

You've got Looney is out of the rotation, and you're just playing Mamou and Smallball with Vando on the floor with them.

That's really their backup center is Mamou and Vando.

Sandro, right? Sandro and Vando.

Last year, you obviously did it with LeBron.

LeBron's not there anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them try it out with somebody like an Adu Thiero, who's obviously very muscular and maybe still needs to fully understand how to like throw that weight around and throw that athleticism around but I wouldn't be surprised to see just some small ball lineups in there JJ's really liked you know kind of utilizing the small ball over the years and he's also a coach that has openly talked about not really caring about positions he cares about skill sets so What for like where that matters for Kavon Looney is I think he'll get his moments to come in against the teams that kind of demand, you know, a more physical backup center in there.

But overall, I think there's a good chance Looney is not even really an every night player for the Lakers.

And if he is, it's going to be in small doses.

Yeah, I mean, like looking at tomorrow's matchup, that's probably one where the Lakers don't really need Loon to play, to come up.

Obviously, he's got the history and he probably knows some stuff and intel that's going to be important, but they don't really need him.

And as you were talking about with, you know, trialling some of the small ball combinations, well, the Warriors at this point are kind of the perfect team to do that against because no Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford is basically living at the three-point line.

He's not building you up on the inside.
