THE PLACE OF THE UKRAINIANS AMONG THE SLAVE RACES The Ukrainians belong to one of the Slav races, which are, in numerical order, Muscovites, or Great Russians, Ukrainians, Ruthenians, and often Malorussians, Poles, White Russians, Serbo-Croats, Czechs, or Bohemians, and Slovaks, Bulgars, Slovenes, and Lusatians.

The Ukrainians are distinguished by a very pronounced brachycephaly, by a high stature, and a more or less dark complexion.

They belong to the northeastern group of the Slavs, which comprises also the Great Russians and the White Russians, while the southwestern group comprises Poles, Czechs, Slovenes, Serbo-Croats, and Bulgars.

So, yes.
